Use these steps to add a DIGITS subscriber in Samson.

Add DIGITS with data
Accounts with DIGITS plans are limited to a combined total of 12 voice and DIGITS lines, even if the credit limit allows more.
T-Mobile For Business sales representatives and customers who request to add DIGITS with data must have a SIM card on hand prior to following these steps. If a SIM card is not available, refer the customer to a retail location or advise the sales representative to obtain a SIM card for activation.
- Click the New Subscriber icon. If the caller is not a dealer with a token code and pass code, the Credit Card Validation screen will pop up.
- Follow Credit card validation.
- Validation successful: Go to step 3.
- Validation fails: Direct customers to a T-Mobile store to validate.
- Select the Product Type: Data w/ Digits.
- Fill out the User Address screen.
- User address and Billing address are the same: Click Verify.
- User address and Billing address are different: Enter the User address, and click Verify.
- Samson will verify if the address is valid:
- Address valid: Click Apply Standard.
- Address not valid: Make sure you entered the address correctly, and click Apply Standard.
- When the PPU pop-up box appears asking, "Deploy address to PPU?", refer to Primary Place of Use (PPU), and confirm the information with customers.
- Same address: Click Yes.
- Different address: Enter the PPU, and click Yes.
- Leave the Dealer Comp field as is. T
- his field is grayed out on existing accounts.
- Changes must be made on the Verification screen.
- Add the Loc code.
- Enter the Number Group, and press Tab. The Sub Market will auto populate.
- Assign the MSISDN. After to assign a MSISDN, you can't change the product type. To change the product type, cancel the transaction and restart.
- New MSISDN
- Click Get Reg Number. The new MSISDN will be reserved on the New Subscriber window.
- Go to step 11.
- Port-in MSISDN
- Set up the port-in before proceeding.
- Click Get Reg Number. The new MSISDN will be reserved on the New Subscriber window.

- New MSISDN
- In the Price Plan section, choose the rate plan.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- In the Device Activation Type field, select the type based on the customer's device purchase option: Full price/Own device.
- Go to the Services & Equipment tab.
- Add the SIM.
- The SIM number is 19 or 20 digits.
- 19-digit SIMs start with 8901.
- If the customer gives you a letter, do not include it in the SIM number.
- If the customer gives you 15 digits, you may need to add 8901 to the beginning because some 8901 SIMs do not have 8901 printed on them.
- CSN/Apple SIM:
- The CSN/Apple SIM is used for new Apple iPads, Apple iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 3 only.
- The Apple SIM has a 32 digit alphanumeric combination called a CSN in place of an ICCID.
- The CSN is mirrored to a T-Mobile ICCID to work with the network.
- The CSN is available on the device box and in device settings.
- The ICCID is only available in the device settings.
- If the customer does not have the box and:
- Customer completed device activation
- Turn on the device.
- From the home screen, tap Settings > General > About.
- Scroll to and locate the ICCID and CSN.
- Customer has not completed device activation.
- Use the default SIM card number to activate.
- Transfer the customer to Apple Tech support for assistance.

- Enter the CSN/Apple SIM/ICCID in the same location in Samson/ATLAS that you would use for any other SIM card. See SIM change: Samson.
- If you receive an error message when activating a CSN/Apple SIM:
- Customer
- If the CSN/ Apple SIM fails or cannot be activated during Activation and the customer wish to use the Apple SIM, they will need to visit an Apple location.
- If the customer is ok to use a T-Mobile SIM, they will need to go to a T-Mobile store to get a new SIM card to complete the activation.
- Customer
- Dealer/Sales rep: If the CSN/ Apple SIM fails or cannot be activated during Activation, advise the Dealer / Sales Rep to get a new T-Mobile SIM Card to complete the activation.

- Add the IMEI. (Default IMEI, all 9’s, may be used if the sales rep does not have the IMEI available or if customer is using BYOD)
- In the Additional Services section, add the requested features. The data feature must be added before proceeding.
- Ask when the line should be activated:
- Immediately: Click Activate on the left toolbar, and go to the next step.
- Future date: Follow Future-dated activation, and go to the next step.
- Highlight the Primary Subscriber in the list then click OK to pair the DIGITS line to the main line.
- If a deposit is required, the deposit amount will be displayed in a pop-up message. Click OK. Deposits should have been collected prior to the activation.
- A message appears with the contract term. If the contract term is correct, click OK.
- A message appears explaining the $35 activation fee (if not waived). Click OK.
- Click Close.
- Select Add New Sub, Open Reserved Sub, or Close.
Add DIGITS Talk and Text

Reserve status
Check the line limit and verify the Digits line is still within their approved MI line limit.
- No: Discuss the line limit information to the caller.
- Yes: Override the line limit for the Rate plan only under the MI tab by following the steps on Change approved subscriber & deposit requirements.
- Click the Override Line Limit button.
- Update the line limit for the Rate plan only under the MI tab
- Enter the new number of approved subscribers in Approved Subscribers.
- In the Deposit field, enter the correct deposit amounts according to the credit limit.
- Enter a memo.
- Click OK.
Add DIGITS NT Talk and Text
- All new Non-T-Mobile DIGITS Talk and Text activations must be completed by Retail or Virtual Retail.
- Activations may receive calls from Sales for assistance, and can add lines to existing NT DIGITS Talk and Text accounts.
- Follow the same steps as above for adding a subscriber for Non-T-Mobile customers requesting the NT DIGITS Talk and Text plan.
- This allows them to use multiple numbers on one device without the need to port their number to T-Mobile.
- Exception: Activate the line as a MI line rather than selecting DIGITS Talk and Text or Data with Paired DIGITS.
