EXPIRED: ONE Plan 4th Line Free and 2 Lines On Us Special Pricing
With the launch of ONE Plan with taxes & fees included, existing ONE Plan customers currently receiving 4th line free or 2 Lines On Us promotional offers will receive special handling. This offer ends at close of business on April 6. All migrations must occur before then as standard handling will resume starting April 7.
What's the deal
- Customers on ONE Plan and receiving ONE Plan 4 lines for $35 / 4th line free offer or 2016 Friends and Family 2 Lines On Us will have the offers removed if they change to ONE Plan with taxes and fees included.
- To protect the customer experience, these customers will get “special pricing” and the promotions will be removed from their accounts.
- Limited Time Offer (January 22 - April 6, 2017): Customers who are on either of the two promotions and move to a tax inclusive plan, can get special pricing as listed below.

Customers will no longer have free lines on their account.
- 4th Line Free offer – 4/$140 is now 4/$150 + standard AAL fee for all additional AAL
- 2 Lines On Us offer – 4/$120 is now 4/$130 + standard AAL fee for all additional AAL
- For ONE plans with 9+ lines, you MUST refer to the attached tables for pricing.
- The new ONE Plan 2 lines for $100 with AutoPay plan (FRLTUL2LP, FZLTUL2LP, NCFRT2LP) will be handled as follows:
- The 4-8 line setup will still be eligible for 2 Lines On Us and 4th Line Free.
- The 2-3 line setup will not be eligible for 2 Lines On Us and 4th Line Free and it will drop off altogether.
Standard ONE Plan Add-a-line prices apply for lines not receiving special pricing above.
How to redeem
- Customers must first be enrolled in one of the free line offers listed above.
- Migration to a ONE Plan taxes and fees included plan must be completed.
- Special pricing is automatically applied and appears on the customer's billing statement.
Issue handling
If you need to escalate an issue, such as a missing bill credit, follow these steps:
- Confirm the customer has been enrolled in the promotion by finding the “CSM Billing Ops Memo” indicating enrollment.
- If customer does not have enrollment memo, proceed to step 2.
- If customer does have enrollment memo:
- Identify the mobile number enrolled in the promo (from CSM Billing Ops Memo) is being billed an AAL fee (for Voice lines):
- If there is an AAL fee, proceed to step 2.
- If there is no AAL fee, there is no charge to adjust. In order for the line to receive credits, it must be billed an AAL fee. Use Samson to reassign the AALs. This will correct the issue and credits will begin applying on next billing cycle.
- Review copy of Bill Image to identify whether credits have applied. Credits applied via discount SOCs will not show in adjustment history – they can be viewed on the bill directly.
- Check Known System Issues for current issues impacting discount credits
- If customer is properly enrolled and no known system issues exist, escalate to Business Support as listed below.
- Identify the mobile number enrolled in the promo (from CSM Billing Ops Memo) is being billed an AAL fee (for Voice lines):
- Verify customer met promo eligibility as listed above.
- Depending on your line of business, refer to the following processes:

- Care: Engage your coach and provide the following information:
- BAN:

- Does customer meet the qualification listed in Magenta Pulse (rate plan, activation date, minimum line requirements, etc.)?
- Does the customer have a CSM Billing Ops promotion enrollment memo in the account?:

- Set a follow up for 10 days from today's date to contact customer to confirm promotion enrollment (from CSM Billing Ops Memo) (or if denied, to provide denial reason).
- Coaches: Determine which offer is richer/better value (4th line vs. 2 lines on us) and then refer to Free/discounted line offer escalations.
Things to know
- To take part in this special pricing, customers simply have to migrate to a new taxes & fees included plan.
- To remain eligible, customers must not drop below the number of lines they had when they originally received the promotion. They can add lines as needed based on their plan requirements and AAL costs.
- Customers must maintain the plan they were enrolled in to stay eligible. Plan changes of any type will drop the special pricing.
- The customer's voice line rate plan is what determines special pricing offers as listed above. MI lines attached to the account follow the voice line plan rules.
- Offer is fulfilled via line level monthly bill credits (appear on the bill only; do not appear in Samson) and may take up to two billing cycles to apply. Enrollment can be confirmed in account memos by referring to the "Discount Added" memo.
- Customers receiving a combination of the two offers, such as one free line from 4th line free and one free line from 2 lines on us, the pricing follows the $130 structure. Customers receiving only one free line from 4th line free offer will follow the $150 structure.
- Customers on a Simple Choice plan who redeemed the 2 Lines On Us original offer are out of scope for this special pricing if they migrate to a ONE Plan Taxes & Fees included plan.
- Customers enrolled in KickBack will only see an up to 50% KickBack credit (typically $5) since the special pricing plans provide a 50% discount on the AAL.
